Carlisle earns All-Tournament Honors, Beavers finish seventh

BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. – Jace Carlisle capped off a historic weekend for Minot State with another stellar round on Saturday, finishing 4th overall at the NSIC Men’s Golf Championship and earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team.
Carlisle shot a 3-under 69 in the final round at Adams Pointe Golf Club to close out the 54-hole event at 3-under 213, securing one of the best individual finishes in program history.
As a team, the Beavers finished 7th overall in the conference with a three-day total of 35-over 899, shooting 13-over 301 in Saturday’s final round.
Max Karnik was subbed into the lineup and delivered a 4-over 76, finishing in 47th place. Chase Gedak posted a 5-over 77 to place 36th with a total score of 18-over 234, while Darien Herlick shot 7-over 79 to finish 40th at 22-over 238.
Winston Grayson, who had been in the top 10 after Day 2, carded a 9-over 81 in the final round and placed 25th overall with a total score of 11-over 227.
Concordia-St. Paul claimed the team championship with a dominant 2-under 862, and Logan Schoepp of Bemidji State took first place at 7-under 209.
The Beavers wrap up the 2023-24 season with a strong postseason push and a record-breaking performance from Carlisle.
