Winczewski retires as Minot High boys’ basketball coach

After 17 years with the Magicians, Minot High head boys’ basketball coach Dean Winczewski is retiring from coaching. During his time with the program, Winczewski’s teams won four state titles, including three straight titles from 2015-2017. The fourth came in 2022.
He began his coaching career in Dickinson, where he coached eight years and won two state titles in 2003 and 2007.
