Forecast forces Beavers back on road

The Minot State baseball and softball teams announced changes to their weekend schedule as both will be on the road because of cold winter weather.
The Minot State baseball team’s home debut will wait at least another week as the Beavers (12-8 overall, 7-5 NSIC) will be the home team on the road, playing Southwest Minnesota State in doubleheaders on Thursday and Friday in Milroy, Minnesota.
First pitch Thursday is at 1:30 p.m., and the two teams meet again starting at noon on Friday.
As for the Minot State softball team, which is in action playing an NSIC doubleheader at the University of Mary, they will move up their games to Friday and Saturday with all four contests in Mankato, Minnesota.
The Beavers (15-12, 3-1) play an NSIC doubleheader at Minnesota State, Mankato at 1 p.m. on Friday, then play in the Mankato “Bubble” on Saturday in another NSIC doubleheader against Southwest Minnesota State at noon.
