Boys hockey All-State Athletes

Kari Gibb/MDN Minot High senior Aidan Diehl (14) was named to the 2024-2025 NDHSCA All State Boys Hockey team.
After competing through the state tournament the most impressive athletes were selected for the All-State team. Three goaltenders, six defenders and 12 forwards were chosen.
The goaltenders that made the all-state team were Williston’s Bode Ekblad, Devils Lake’s Brody Forsberg and Grand Forks Central’s Westin Nielson.
The seniors that made the all-state team as a defender are Minot High’s Aidan Diehl, Grand Forks Central’s Finn Lockwood and West Fargo Sheyenne’s Madden Weber.
Two juniors made the team as defenders as well, West Fargo’s Noah Betker and Grand Forks Red River’s Brekkin Hultberg. One underclassman made the team as a defender, sophomore from Bismarck Century, Kaydon Echaryt.
Two athletes from Minot High made the team as forwards, seniors Mackley Morelli and Easton Panasuk. Grand Forks Central also had two athletes make the team as forwards, senior Mack Blue and junior Cooper Deziel.
Four more senior athletes made the team as forwards Fargo North’s Caleb Briggeman, Bismarck Century’s Andrew Brubakken, Grand Forks Red River’s Rylan Bydal and Williston’s Chase Collings. Grafton/Park River’s James Larson and West Fargo’s Bryce Mattern, both juniors, were selected as forwards.
Bottineau/Rugby’s Peyton Getzlaff, is the only sophomore who made the team as a forward. One freshman made the all-state team, Bradyn Strom from Bismarck Legacy.
