Lady Royals still perfect, Dunseith advances with Region 3 Play-In win
With postseason play looming, teams are in the final preparations for region competition.

The Lady Royals traveled to play the Region 4 second seed in a preview of possible matchups to come in the postseason yet.
With the win, South Prairie-Max finished the season with a perfect 21-0 record and will enter the Region 3 Tournament at the MSU Dome as the top seed. The Lady Royals will face the eighth seed in game one. Dunseith won the play-in contest against Stanley and will advance in the final slot for the tournament on Monday, February 24.
South Prairie-Max faces Dunseith in one vs eight while No. 2 TMCHS takes on No. 7 New Town. No. 3 Bottineau will face No. 6 Nedrose in the quarterfinals and No. 4 Rugby takes on No. 5 Des Lacs-Burlington in the final game on day one of the tournament.
Region 3 Play-In
No. 8 Dunseith 53, No. 9 Stanley 48
The Lady Blue Jays traveled from Stanley to Dunseth with the goal to score the upset win over the Lady Dragons and advance to the Region 3 tournament in the final slot. Dunseith had other ideas and protected their seeding and the slot for the tournament with the home court win.
With the win, Dunseith, seeded eight before the play-in, is the eight seed at the tournament.
