Key battles in District 6 and Region 3 in play
Several Division A, Region 3 and Division B, District 6 games were played across the area- despite the poor winter conditions. The battles for seeding are heating up as the temperatures drop.
Des Lacs-Burlington 76, Rugby 37
The Lakers traveled to play the Panthers and came away with the win. The win moved DLB to 8-8 on the season with a tough contest as they host New Town on Tuesday, February 11, next
The Panthers dropped to 5-9 on the season. Rugby will be at Grafton on Saturday, February 8, and host Bottineau on Tuesday.
New Town 80, South Prairie-Max 47
In a Region 3 showdown, the Royals traveled to New Town and were unable to take the win on the road. New Town improved to 9-5 with the win and will travel to Des Lacs-Burlington on Tuesday.
South Prairie-Max dropped to 4-11 on the season and will travel to TMCHS on Tuesday and host Wilton-Wing on Thursday, February 13, in a tough contest.
Our Redeemer’s 87, Berthold 27
The fourth ranked Knights traveled to Berthold to face the Bombers. Our Redeemer’s was able to take home the road win and improve to 15-2 with only two losses to Bishop Ryan on their schedule. The Knights will host Powers Lake-Burke Central on February 18 next.
Berthold dropped to 0-15 for the year and host Williston Trinity today and Bishop Ryan is on the schedule for February 17 next.
Dunseith 84, Nedrose 67
The Cardinals traveled to face the Dragons in a Region 3 contest. The home team would win as Dunseith moved to 7-7 for the season. The Dragons will be at Beulah today and at Stanley on Tuesday for their next games.
Nedrose dropped to 1-15 and are at Velva today and host TMCHS on Friday, February 15, for their next pair of games.
