BISMARCK – There were 29 teams attending the Bismarck Rotary Classic wrestling tournament over the weekend. Bismarck Legacy claimed first place with a team score of 203.5 with Waterton in second with 188 points and Bismarck Century at third with 176 points as a team.

The top local team at the event was the Minot High grapplers at 14th with 76 points.

The top finisher for the Magicians was Lincoln Brooks at 215-pounds. Brooks wrestled to a third place finish at the event and earned 21 points for the team score. At 145-lbs, Kaden Kraft posted a fifth place mark with 16 points for the team.

Noah Bledsoe at 172 also finished in fifth place with 14 points for the Minot High team score. Another Kraft grappler- Korbin- placed seventh at 127 and added 12 points for the team score.

Dylan Sandness from Legacy was first at the 107 classification. At 114, Pierce Hurd of Rapid City Central was the top wrestler. Legacy’s Nicolas Enzminger was the top wrestler at 121 at the event.

At 127, Shea Richter of Watertown was the winner while Koltyn Grebel of Valley City was the top finisher at 133. Watertown’s Gage Lohr at 139 was the top man while Reece Graves from Sydney, Montana was the winner at 145 in Bismarck.

Glasgow’s Khye Gamas won at 152 in Bismarck and Jacob Williams of the Rapid City Stevens team was the winner at 160-lbs.

Bismarck Century’s Brayden Morris was the top grappler at 172 while Bismarck Legacy’s James Marks was the winner at 189 at the tournament.

Ole Taylor was the winner at 215 wrestling for Century with Micah Hach of Watertown taking the top spot at 285 to round out the winners at each weight class.
