Eight Bison named to CSC Academic All-District Football Team

FARGO – North Dakota State University (NDSU) had eight student-athletes named to the 2024 Academic All-District Football Team selected by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday, Jan. 7. The team recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

NDSU center Trent Fraley, linebacker Logan Kopp, wide receiver Bryce Lance, defensive linemen Jaxon Duttenhefer, Kole Menz, Eli Mostaert and Will Mostaert, and fullback Truman Werremeyer made the Academic All-District® team.

Kopp, Lance, and Eli Mostaert were among the finalists selected to advance to the national ballot for Academic All-America® honors to be announced on Tuesday, Jan. 28.

To qualify, nominees must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and compete in 90 percent of the institution’s games or start in at least 66 percent of the institution’s games.

Graduate students must also have a 3.50 cumulative GPA in grad school.
