NDAPSSA Division A Basketball Polls

Kari Gibb/MDN South Prairie-Max junior Skotti Beck (21) and her Royals teammates have been voted the top Division A girls basketball team in this week’s polls.

The latest NDAPSSA Division A Basketball Media Polls of the 2024-25 season have been released.

The Division A girls have local teams on the list receiving votes. South Prairie-Max received the top rank in preseason voting and the first week of play- and the 4-0 record- have only reaffirmed that spot. Devils Lake sits at second place while Bottineau at 1-1 received votes this week.

For the Division A boys, Devils Lake sits at second place while Des Lacs-Burlington and Stanley are in the receiving votes category with games starting this week.

The polls are voted on by members of the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association (NDAPSSA).

Division A Girls Basketball Poll (Dec 9):

1. South Prairie/Max (17) 4-0 97

2. Devils Lake (3) 0-0 79

3. Shiloh Christian 1-0 46

4. Thompson 1-1 43

5. Kindred 1-0 17

Others Receiving Votes: Bottineau (1-1), Valley City (0-0), Wahpeton (1-1), Four Winds/Minnewaukan (1-1).

1. Kindred (14) 0-0 82

2. Devils Lake (3) 0-0 67

3. Shiloh Christian 0-0 42

4. Grafton 0-0 32

5. Wahpeton 0-0 13
