Strong finish Dominguez, Bonilla at NCAA Central Region meet
JOPLIN, Mo. – It was a fitting final performance by Minot State University (MSU) seniors Paulette Dominguez and Grayson Bonilla.
Saturday, Dominguez raced her way to a 27th-place finish in her final collegiate cross-country race, just missing out on a top 25 finish and All-Region honors, while Bonilla turned in a gutsy 10-kilometer performance to lead the Minot State men as he finished 117th.
“I think I’m most proud of our two top seniors in their performances today,” said MSU coach Steven Schultz. “Grayson had a really gutty performance. He put himself in a good position and held strong.
