NDSU still at top, UND at 21/23

GRAND FORKS – After the 35-31 loss at Indiana State, the University of North Dakota (UND) remains in the Stats Perform Poll at No. 21 and in the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Coaches’ Top 25 Poll at No. 23.

The Missouri Valley Football Conference (MVFC) has five teams represented in the Stats Perform Poll. North Dakota State University (NDSU)remains No. 1, trailed by South Dakota State at No. 3 and South Dakota at No. 5. Illinois State is No. 18, while North Dakota rounds out the poll for the conference at No. 21.

In the AFCA Coaches’ Top 25, the league continues to have six teams ranked. The Bison hold the top spot, followed by the Jackrabbits (No. 3) and Coyotes (No. 5). The Bears (No. 15) and Redbirds (No. No. 17) both moved up in the poll, while the Fighting Hawks dropped to No. 23.

NDSU is off this week and will host Missouri State on Saturday, November 16, while No. 21/23 UND will host No. 3/3 South Dakota State at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 9.
