Minot High girls named to All State, All WDA Teams
The Majettes posted points worthy of second place at the 2024 NDHSAA Girls Swim & Dive State Tournament. Minot High also was represented on the NDHSAA 2024 Girls Swimming and Diving All State Team.
Haley Cokklin was named to the 1st Team All State roster after her dominating performance in the 1-meter diving competition. The senior Majette broke the state record this year that she set at the same meet last year.
Minot High junior Sam VonBokern was also named to the 1st Team All State roster. Her performance on relay teams and in the individual events was critical in amassing points for the second place team finish.
Bismarck Legacy tallied three 1st Team All State members and two 2nd Team All State athletes to lead the totals on the team rosters.
All WDA Girls Swim & Dive Team
Minot High edged Bismarck Century and Bismarck Legacy for the 2024 WDA Girls Swim & Dive team title, but came in second to Century with number of athletes named to the 2024 All WDA Roster.
Haley Conklin, Gracyn Bergan, Sam Vonbokern, Emily Dunstan and Bostyn Edwards were named to the All WDA Swim & Dive team from Minot High.
Bismarck Century had Sienna Mrachek, Abby Jablonsky, Molly Osadchy, Kylie Duchsherer, Joelle Knudson and Ava Erickson named to the team.
Bismarck Legacy had four athletes named. Lilyana Hochhalter, Tova Blikre, Brinley Steele and Abby Erickson were named for the Sabers. Williston also had four athletes make the team. Katelyn Kolness, Dru Zander, Braelynn Tofte and Anika Grunenwald were named from the Coyotes.
Dickinson had three athletes make the roster while Bismarck High had two. Jamestown had a pair while Mandan had one student named to the roster.
