Minot High beats tough Legacy team by twenty
The Minot High girls swim and dive team hosted Bismarck Legacy on Tuesday, September 24, for a Western Dakota Association (WDA) dual meet to cap off a busy week of competition. The Majettes finished the dual in the same fashion as the other two events – with a solid win 103-82 over the Sabers.
“We had a great meet,” said Minot High girls swim and dive head coach Emily Jensen. “Legacy is some tough competition for us, they have some excellent swimmers and can put together a great line up. We really surprised ourselves with how well we did. Having three meets in six days is a lot. The kids stepped up and performed at a level that they should be so proud of.”

“We have a little break now, where we will be able to get in some hard training as we do not compete until we head to Fargo, October 4,” said Jensen. “We are excited to go to Fargo and see some competition that we have not seen yet this season. Horace, and Shanley are both solid teams that are putting up some great times.”
