The fourth round of play was completed on Sunday, August 18, at the Vardon Golf Course and the 44th winner was crowned for the Western North Dakota Charity Pro-Am in a tightly contested tournament.

Jesse Schutte from Florence, Oregon shot rounds of 65, 66, 63 and 68 to take the top spot at -26 over the four days and a score of 262 over Danny Fisher from Lake Forest, Illinois who carded 67, 67, 62 and 67 with -25 and total score of 263 for second place.

Marcus Plunkett from Clinton, South Carolina shot rounds of 67, 66, 67 and 65 at -23 for a total score of 265 and third place. Zach Smith from Phoenix, Arizona carded 70, 68, 66 and a stellar 62 for a -22 and fourth place with a score of 266 overall.

Ryan Gronlund shot 66, 66, 70 and 65 for a -21 and fifth place with a 267 score. Three players ended at -20 and tied for sixth with a 268 score at the tournament.

Prior to the tournament, Plunkett was in third place on the money leaderboard for The Dakotas Tour with $28,487.67 in earnings over nine events for the season. Jack Lundin was atop the money leaderboard at $46,100 earnings over four events and scored a 272 over the event and tied for 12th place.

The next event for The Dakotas Tour will be the S&L Computer Services Inc Oxbow Pro-Am at the Oxbow Country Club in Oxbow, North Dakota on Wednesday, August 21.
