Being at the forefront of the buzz ringing throughout the city of Minot was prep basketball once again. Only this time, it was Class B girls’ basketball that took center stage as the Minot Auditorium played host to a variety of teams for the Hoopster Classic.

With 10 teams coming from five different regions, Thursday’s slate featured five games and two representatives who were ranked in the latest North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association (NDAPSSA) poll.

Checking in as the No. 3 team and being the headliner of the action are the Rugby Panthers, who were matched up with Beulah in a primetime, 6 p.m. slot. The other representative is No. 5 Shiloh Christian, who were matched up with Langdon in the slot before.
