The track and field State Meet came to a close on Saturday, as athletes, coaches and fans got to experience the event over the course of three days for the first time in its existence.

Throughout the early stages of the weekend, the events consisted primarily of prelim rounds. On Saturday, however, all of the events were finals as the athletes looked to put a bow on their successful outdoor season.

All of the athletes were working hard throughout the weekend, with Saturday embedded in their minds as they looked to end the day with the highest note possible.

For some of the athletes, it was the last opportunity for them to be with their team, for others, it was a new standard for them to reach beyond heading into next season.
