Larry Ervin Tinjum, 77, Powers Lake, ND was born July 10, 1947, to Ervin and Lois (Stenson) Tinjum in Powers Lake. He passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Trinity Hospital in Minot, ND.

Larry is survived by his wife, Jill; sons, Richard of Powers Lake, John (Tally) of Sabin, MN; daughters, Stephanie Fong (Carter) of Dickinson, and Sonja of Medora; grandchildren, Karys and Kolie Tinjum and Sydney, Parker, and Peyton Fong; siblings, Linda Tinjum, Susie Keenaghan, Dale Tinjum (Pat), and Judy Sauter; mother-in-law, Minnie Flynn; brother-in-law, Randy Flynn (Laurice); and sister-in-law, K. Richard; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

There will be a public visitation held at the St. James Catholic Church in Powers Lake, ND from 6:00-7:00 PM on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 with a Family Service and Rosary Vigil to follow and begin at 7:00 PM. Larry’s Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Catholic Church in Powers Lake, ND. Father Corey Nelson will officiate. Larry will be laid to rest at the Bethel Lutheran Cemetery in Powers Lake, ND.
