Alice Johnson

Alice was born July 24, 1931, daughter to William Ross and Rose Virginia (Maas) Ross in Dunn County, North Dakota. She was raised on the family homestead in Dunn County.
She married Lloyd Johnson on Jan. 1, 1953, in Yuma, AZ. They were blessed with two daughters, Debra and Donna. Lloyd sadly passed away in 1963.
She married Clarence Johnson in 1968 in Las Vegas, NV. They were blessed with a daughter, Diana. Clarence sadly passed away in 1994.
Alice was very meticulous about caring for her lawn. She was a 4-H leader working with horses. She loved to read, was an excellent seamstress who also loved to make western shirts, and baby blankets. She was also a great baker, making delicious pies and caramel rolls.
She was a member of the Minot Trail Riders Organization, American Quarter Horse Association, and a lifetime member of the American Angus Association.
Her loving family includes her daughters, Debra Dressler, Richardton, ND, Donna Harvey (Alan), Minot, ND, and Diana Adam (Bryon), Minot, ND; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Eva Bardwell; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Lloyd and Clarence; siblings, Bud, Eileen, Phyllis, Mary, Eleanor, Pearl, John, Charles, Luella, Bill, Douglas, Clara, and Michael; son-in-law, Russell Dressler.
Our family would like to thank Hospice of the Red River Valley Staff, Minot Lodge Staff, and her granddaughter, Wendy, for all their wonderful care.
Memorial Service: Saturday, April 26, 2025, 1 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
Signing of the Guest Book: will take place one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in Alice’s name to the Hospice of the Red River Valley.
