Marcella “Sally” Dolbec

Marcella Dolbec, age 84, of Minot, ND passed away peacefully on March 26, 2025, at Trinity Hospital. Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. CT on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Harvey, ND with Fr. Kevin Boucher officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial will follow at St. Cecilia Cemetery.

Sally was born on October 11, 1940, in Selz, ND to Edward and Elizabeth (Schwahn) Grad and attended school in Drake, ND. Sally married Paul Dolbec on December 27, 1962, and the couple had three children, Lisa, Mike, and Kelly. She worked at various clerical jobs and retired from SRT in Minot, ND. Sally was a beloved wife, partner, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many who loved her. She lived a life rooted in faith with kindness, strength, and compassion. She built a beautiful and loving family, blending two families with grace and unwavering love.

Sally is survived by her loving partner of nearly 30 years, Clem Vetter, her beloved children, Lisa Marra, Mike (Julie) Dolbec, and Kelly (Chastity) Dolbec, 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and stepchildren, Terry (Janell) Vetter, Tom (Nancy) Vetter, Clayton (Lisa) Vetter, Dale (Debbie) Vetter, and Kyle Vetter, 9 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. She was a proud and cherished grandmother and great-grandmother to all. She cherished the time spent with family and had a gift for making everyone feel welcomed and loved.

She leaves behind her brother, Dennis (Mary) Grad, step-brother, Ken (Cassie) Vetter and various extended family members whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Dolbec, and mother and father, Elizabeth and Edward Grad. Her love knew no bounds, and she welcomed everyone into her life with open arms. Sally will be deeply missed, but her love, pinochle wisdom, marble skills, and laugh will be greatly missed. She will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to have known her.
