Colleen Feist-Guevara, 69, Minot, died Sunday, March 16, 2025, at her home.
Colleen Marie Feist was born April 28, 1955, the daughter of Edward and Thelma (Salmela) Feist, in Minot, ND. She was raised and educated in Minot, graduating from Minot High School.
She was once married to Therman Williams. They were blessed with four children, Holly, Darin, Jerome, and Lemarr.
Colleen worked at Walmart as a Customer Service Manager until her retirement. It is at work where she met Daniel Guevara in October of 2004. After Daniel found a new job, he couldn’t leave Walmart without asking Colleen out on a coffee date. She agreed to join him for coffee and showed up at least 10 minutes late. It was on that date that Daniel knew he had found the love of a lifetime.
She married Daniel Guevara on December 26, 2008. They made their home in Minot with Daniel’s daughter, Melina. Colleen and Daniel spent the rest of their time together very much in love.
Colleen enjoyed traveling with her mother. They took many international cruises and every fall she drove to California and dropped Thelma off with her brother, Randy, and his family where Thelma would spend the winter. Colleen would make the trip back to California in the spring so Thelma and her could return to North Dakota to spend the summer with Colleen.
Her loving family includes: husband of 16 years, Daniel; children, Holly (James) Wood and their children Nathan, Gabriel, and Xavier, Darin (Tammy) Kram and their children, Jennifer Pigott and David Ashe, Jerome Williams and his son, Jonah Williams, Lemarr (Alyssa) Williams; step-children, Anthony Guevara, Alisha White and her children, Christian, Calvin, Carson, and Corban, Melina Guevara; brothers, Leslie (Sandra) Feist, David (Laura) Feist, Thomas (Deborah) Feist, Joel (Connie) Feist, Charles (Cindy) Feist, Donovan (Elaine) Feist, Randall (Barbara) Feist; sister, Janice (Cliff) Johnson; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial Service: Friday, March 28, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
Inurnment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND.
