Barry “Boz” Bosworth, 74, of Minot, died on March 27, 2025, at home, after recently being diagnosed with lung cancer.

Barry was born on December 1, 1950 in North Hampton, Massachusetts to Robert Sr. and Eugenia (Bias) Bosworth. He graduated from Belchertown High School in 1968.

Following graduation, Barry enlisted in the United States Air Force. During his time of service, he was stationed in Grand Forks and Minot, North Dakota. He also did tours in South Korea and Turkey. Later in his career, Barry met and married the love of his life Roberta (Bobbie) Jerrett in February of 1982. Barry retired from many years of dedicated service to our country in 1991.

After retiring from the United States Air Force, he worked several years for Trinity Hospital as a courier, until fully retiring in 2012.

One of Barry’s biggest passions in life was golf. He spent countless hours on the course and made many good friends throughout his playing years. When he wasn’t on the course, he could be found in the clubhouse enjoying a couple beers with his golf buddies. Barry recorded a hole-in-one at Souris Valley Golf Course on July 3, 1994, which was one of his favorite memories. Barry also enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and going to casinos when he wasn’t golfing. He was a proud fan of the New England Patriots.

Barry is survived by his loving wife, Roberta ‘Bobbie’; brother, Tim; sisters, Janet and Janice, and sister-in-law, Nancy.

Barry was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Ann, Alison, and Ellen; brothers, James and Robert Jr; in-laws, Earl, Edna, Darryl, Pat, Lenny, and Sandy.

Per Barry’s request, no visitation or funeral services will take place. A celebration of Barry’s life will take place at the Wildwood Country Club in Burlington at a later date.
