Marvin Earl Block, 96 of Towner and recently of Rugby, died Friday, February 14, 2025 at the Heart of America Medical Center in Rugby, North Dakota. He was born on April 22, 1928 to William and Laura (Klebe) Block in Willow Creek Township, McHenry County, North Dakota. He was united in marriage to Darlene Johnson on June 5, 1954. He is survived by his son, Mitchell (Kyi) Block of Iowa, his grandson and his great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Rugby. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Rugby.
