Linda K. Rostad, 76, Minot, ND, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Trinity Hospital in Minot.
Linda was born January 24, 1949, the daughter of Charles and Alice (Michel) Brennan, in Minot, ND. She was raised and educated in Garrison, graduating high school in 1967.
Linda married Bruce Rostad (who was born five days after Linda, they were in the nursery together) on February 16, 1974. They made their home in Minot and were blessed with three children.
Linda worked at the family grocery store, Brennan’s Super Value Store in Garrison during her high school years. Upon moving to Minot she worked at Wholesale Supply, Wells Fargo Bank for 26 years and then for Trinity Hospital Business Office for 13 years before retiring in 2019.
She was a member of Vincent United Methodist Church and taught Sunday School for 33 years. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 195.
She treasured her kids and grandkids. Linda had a personality that always shined. She was incredibly giving, she was always taking care of others and offering help in any way she could.
Her loving family includes: husband of 50 years, Bruce; children, Annette Rostad, Richard Rostad, and Donald (Angie) Rostad; grandchildren, Savannah, Andrew, Alisha, Addisyn, Kasen, Brynlee; great-grandchildren, Kylah, Konner, Kaliana, Macy, Alexander, Ellie; brother, Rodney (Peggy) Brennan; sister, Charlene Greenawalt; sisters-in-law, Janet (Glenn) Mueller, Marcia Rostad; her beloved dog, Molly; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jack Brennan; brother-in-law, Steven Rostad; mother-in-law, Jean Rostad.
Memorial Service: Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Vincent United Methodist Church, Minot.
Inurnment: Sunset Memorial Gardens at a later date.
Visitation: Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
Memorials: are preferred to Vincent United Methodist Church Sunday School program in Linda’s name.
