Jon Braunstadter, 47, Minot, ND, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2025, in his home.

Jon was born October 6, 1977, the son of Dennis and Jeannie (Thom) Braunstadter, in Minot. He was raised and educated in Berthold until the 6th grade when the family moved to Minot. He graduated from Minot High School in 1996 and attended Minot State for a time. He worked at Herberger’s during his high school years. He married Amie Pavloski on September 24th, 2011, they would later divorce. He then began to work around the Minot and Berthold area learning the plumbing and heating trades under his close friend and mentor Klint Hanson. He owned and operated A and J Plumbing and heating until recently when he started working at Trinity Hospital as their Master Plumber.

His loving family includes: Devoted Mother, Jeannie Thom, Ray, ND; Father, Dennis (Sandie), Spring Creek, NV; Sisters, Denise (James) Long, Lompoc, CA, Brenda (Lance) Daniel, Ray, ND; Benjamin Braunstadter, Spring Creek, NV; Aunt’s, Patsy Lindberg, Great Falls MT. Chari Thom, Roundup MT. and Uncle Charles Thom, Denver CO.; Niece, Madison Daniel (MJ); Canberra Australia. Nephews, Levi Long Lompoc CA & Zane Daniel Ray ND; Brother (Best Friend) Adam Ritchie; extended family, Klint & Nancy Hanson.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Iva Thom; paternal grandparents, John and Margaret Braunstadter.

Celebration of Life: Friday, February 7, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Original Bar, Minot.

Memorial Service: Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Sonesta Essential Hotel, Minot, 3420 South Broadway.
