John Kubler, 49, Minot, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Trinity Homes.

John was born February 19, 1975 to Melodie Kubler in Minot, North Dakota. He attended school at Cruise Elementary School in Cadet, MO, where he won the spelling bee. He then went on to attend Potosi High School in Potosi, MO.

John and his mom moved back to Minot in 1995. He was employed by Sun Mart and Miracle Mart at Arrowhead Shopping Center. After that he went to work at Target for many years.

John enjoyed watching movies, reading, jigsaw puzzles, baseball cards, video games, and collecting Hot Wheels cars. He loved to eat McDonalds. He was Lutheran and Baptist.

He is survived by his mother, Melodie Brunk, Minot; sister, Janet Brunk, Joplin, MO; three nephews, Joseph Brunk, William Flowers, Robert Flowers; one niece, Isabella Flowers, all who reside in Missouri; aunts, Marlese Kubler, Karla Claussen; uncle, Darrell Kubler; step-grandmother, Videll Kubler; special cousin, David Bean.

He was preceded in death by his step-dad, Larry Brunk; grandparents Nadine (Harding) Sollid and Clarence Kubler; step-grandmother, Ella Brunk; aunt, Diane Kubler; uncle, Mike Oja; infant aunt, Rita Kubler; along with numerous relatives.

Memorial Service: Monday, March 3, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church, Minot.

Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot, ND. Burial will take place in the spring.

Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the church.
