Carole Yoder, 67, lifelong Minot resident, died Thursday, February 20, 2025 in a Minot hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Carole was born September 9, 1957, in Minot, ND to Dale and Georgia (Barnes) Helm. She was raised and educated in Minot Public Schools, graduating from Minot High in 1975. As a young adult she started her career in retail at Helm’s Grocery assisting her extended family with the operation of the business for a number of years.

Carole moved on to KMART working for many years at the retailer in a number of departments. She concluded her working years on staff at Friday’s Bar and Bottle Shop until retirement.

Carole was united in marriage to Jeff Yoder on August 14, 2004, in Minot. They shared twenty years of love and companionship.

She enjoyed going to flea markets. As well as traveling to visit friends and relatives. She will be remembered for lifelong friendships and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with Jessica and Jerod along with grandnieces Reya, Britt, and grandnephew Camden. She will be missed dearly by those who shared her life.

Carole’s loving family includes her loving husband Jeff, Minot; sister Gail (Darrell) Olson, Minot; brother-in-law Kevin Yoder, Bismarck, ND; niece Jessica (Tyler) Berube, Minot and nephew Jerod Olson, Minot. Along with several cousins that were special to her.

Carole was preceded in death by her parents.

Gathering of Family and Friends: Wednesday, February 26, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
