Amanda LeAnn Huber, 36 January 6, 1989 – January 25, 2025
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Amanda LeAnn Huber, who left this world too soon on January 25, 2025, in Post Falls, ID. Amanda was born on January 6, 1989, in Minot, ND, and was raised there by her loving parents, Troy and Carlene Huber.
Amanda’s childhood was filled with energy, passion, and an undeniable love for dance. She trained and competed with BJ’s Dance and Twirl, showcasing her talent across North Dakota and Minnesota.
Despite the shelves of dance trophies and pictures in sparkling costumes, Amanda’s heart belonged to stock car racing. From cheering on her favorite NASCAR driver, Dale Earnhardt Jr., to spending summer nights in the pits at Nodak Speedway, racing was a deep-rooted family tradition she cherished.
After high school, Amanda pursued her creative passion at Headquarters Hair Academy, working in salons in Minot and Grand Forks. Yet, it was her keen eye for detail and natural inclination for tidiness that led her to find fulfillment in professional housekeeping and detailing. A self-described “neat freak,” Amanda took pride in making things shine, a reflection of her meticulous nature.
Amanda was known for her fiery spirit, unwavering independence, and tenacity–qualities she often credited to her beloved grandma, Shirley, and her father, Troy. Her strong will and determination were matched only by the immense love she had for her two children, Emmett Lagerquist (10) and Laiklyn Rey (2). They were her greatest joys, her driving force, and the center of her universe. Amanda wanted nothing more than for Emmett and Laiklyn to have a life filled with happiness and success. She admired their intelligence, compassion, and curiosity, always giving all she could to ensure their dreams could flourish.
Amanda is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ron and Shirley (Jenstead) Huber.
She is survived by her cherished children, Emmett and Laiklyn; her devoted parents, Troy and Carlene (Mock) Huber; her brother, Corey Mock; sister-in-law Jeannie Mock, her maternal grandparents, Raymond and Judy (Hiller) Mock; uncles Rick Mock, Joe Huber, Cory (Pam) Huber, TJ (Evie) Huber; her nephews, Grayson and Camdon Mock; her niece, Josephene Mock; and her cousins, Braden (Tia), Shad, and Dylan Huber.
Amanda’s legacy lives on through the love she shared, the memories she created, and the dreams she instilled in her children. Though her time with us was far too short, her spirit remains an unshakable force in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Visitation for friends and family will be held at Bread of Life Lutheran Church 4-6 pm on Thursday, February 20, 2025, and a celebration of Amanda’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 21, 2025, also at Bread of Life. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor the vibrant, passionate, and loving woman she was.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Troy Huber who will establish a fund for her children’s future endeavors, ensuring Amanda’s greatest hope–for their bright and joyful lives–continues to shine.
