Gene Carl Wurgler, 84, of Rugby, passed away Sunday, January 19th, 2024, at Trinity Hospital, Minot, North Dakota. Gene was born to Charles and Minnie (Nash) Wurgler on August 19, 1940. On November 22, 1964, he married Connie Tuff. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Connie; children, Daniel (Jerri), Carl (Kathy), Ben (Jennifer) and Amanda (Curtis) Lawrence; grandchildren; great grandchildren; siblings, Avis (Bill) Follman, Dale Wurgler, Eris (Roger) Smith, Lois (Brad) Young and Lori Wurgler. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28 at Anderson Funeral Home in Rugby with lunch and fellowship to follow at the Rugby Eagle’s Club
