Edward Francis Brossart, 95 of Rugby died Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at the Heart of America Medical Center in Rugby, North Dakota. He was born on May 4, 1929 to Nicholas and Magdalen (Voeller) Brossart in Rugby, North Dakota. In 1958, he was united in marriage to Margaret Massine. He honorably served in the military and later took over the family farm north of Rugby. He is survived by his daughter, Deborah (Mark) Millang of Rugby; his son, Charles (Debbie) of Rugby; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; siblings, Nick Brossart Jr. of Rugby and Betty Brossart of Grand Forks. Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, Jan. 25 at 11:00 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church with military honors to follow, burial will be in the spring at the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with rosary, vigil prayer service and sharing at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.
