Daniel Rademacher, 83, Minot, died Monday, at a Minot hospital.

Daniel Francis Rademacher was born October 5, 1941 to Leonard and Josephine (Schmitz) Rademacher of Foxholm. He was raised on the family farm southwest of Foxholm and attended grade school in Lonetree. He graduated from Berthold High School.

Daniel was united in marriage to Karen Lee Hauser of Foxholm on October 5, 1963. From that union, Daniel and Karen were blessed with 5 children, Steven, Sheila, Kevin, Keith and Tamara.

He was a member of St Mary’s Catholic Church of Foxholm until they moved to Minot in 1998 when they became members of St John’s Catholic Church.

Daniel and Karen owned and operated a Grade A Dairy and small grain farm until 1986, when he retired due to health reasons.Daniels passion for music was evident in his masterful accordion playing, a skill he taught himself. For all that knew him, they knew that was his biggest passion. Among his notable achievements are 35 years of Hostfest participation, playing with the Harvest Accordion Club and providing voluntary entertainment at various Senior Centers and the Moose Club. He also shared his accordion talents with his grandchildren at school. One of his most cherished moments was the opportunity to play with Myron Floren.

Daniel is survived by his children Steven Rademacher (Cindy Krehlik), Minot, Sheila (Mark) Deaver, Berthold, Kevin (Kari) Rademacher, Norwich, Keith (Patty) Rademacher, Minot and Tamara (David Vetter), Berthold; grandchildren Steven Jr (Chelsey) Rademacher, Miranda (Aaron) Brentrup, Ashley Deaver, Heidi (Joseph) Terfehr, Hayley (Jordan) Timm, Dalton (Olivia) Rademacher, Kaitlyn Rademacher, Kasey (Jordan) Rabe, Darby (Joseph) Krupa, Garrett, Grace and Luke Vetter; 14 great-grandchildren; brother Leonard Jr. (Delores) Rademacher; sister Margaret Ronnie; sisters-in-law Janet Evanson and Peggy (Bruce) Elberg, Jean Hauser, Linda Hauser; brothers-in-law Larry Hauser and Michael (Kathy) Hauser along with numerous nieces and nephews. Daniel was preceded in death by his wife Karen, parents, great granddaughter Carter Timm, brothers-in-law Richard ‘Dick’ Ronnie, Eldon “Buzz” Evanson, Raymond Hauser and Stan Hauser and sister-in-law Marlys Hauser. Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at St. John The Apostle Catholic Church, Minot.Recitation of the Holy Rosary and Vigil Prayer Service: 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at St. John The Apostle Catholic Church, Minot.Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot
