Christ Struksnes, 47, Minot, ND, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at home

Christ was born December 27, 1976, the son of Robert and Joy (Kolberg) Struksnes, in Minot, ND. He was raised and educated in Minot. Graduated from Minot High School in 1996. During and following high school, he was dedicated to working at the family business Truck & Equipment Sales and Service in Minot until death.

Christ was a person of many interests and skills. He was a diesel mechanic, grill master, chef and carpenter. When he was 13 became a certified scuba diver with his dad and sister Amber. He grew up spending weekends on the big boat enjoying family time. He would spend countless hours at the lake working on the retirement home of his parents on Lake Sakakawea. He loved hanging out with friends that always included the mischief that he was notoriously known for. Everyone that was part of his life will have memories and laughter of these times. Christ was a dad for his 3 yorkies Sky, Thunder and Lightning. You could find him in the evening cuddled up in a blanket on the floor watching movies with his dogs. His greatest love was for his nieces and nephews. He would encourage and challenge them to be better people by giving unconditional love. He had recently fallen in love with DaNessa Schroom and her son Sabastian, and he was planning a future. This had given him great joy in his heart.

He was a member of First Lutheran Church.

His loving family includes: Parents, Robert (Bob) and Joy Strursnes; sisters, Sonja (Kevin) Weber, and Heidi (Phillip) Broderson and Amber Ferm; nieces, Miranda VanWinkle, Ashlee (Landon) Possen, Kaylee Jaensch and MacKenzie Broderson; nephews, Chad (Trista) VanWinkle, Casey Jaensch, Nathaniel Ferm, Brandon Broderson and Kolby Ferm

Aunt, Mary (Rodger) Zurcher; great-nieces and nephews, one great-great niece and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by:

Grandparents Christ and Rosemary Struksnes, Melvin and Joyce Kolberg; aunts Kathleen Brockey and Jana Kolberg; uncles Harold Struksnes and Roger Kolberg.

Funeral: Dec. 4, 2024, at 11 a.m. at First Lutheran Church, Minot.

Interment: First Lutheran Church Cemetery, Minot, ND.

Visitation: December 3, from 3-5 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
