Susan Mosser

April 12, 1950-Nov. 5, 2024 Minot Susan Mosser, 74 of Minot, ND passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Trinity Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Susan was born April 12, 1950, the daughter of William “Bill” Spicer and Rose Marie (Sattler) Spicer in Grand Forks, ND. The family moved to Minot, ND, where she was raised and educated. Susan attended Minot Public Schools graduating from Minot High in 1968. She continued her education later in life graduating from Minot State University. Susan was a woman of strong Christian faith, a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Minot. She was a member of Seven Sisters Apostolate and participated in Adoration services. Susan enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, baking with her grandchildren, spending time with family, especially during the holidays and enjoying the summer months at the cabin on Crooked Lake. Susan enjoyed the changing of the seasons and decorating her home. Susan also loved to read and could often be found curled up with a good book and her coffee. Susan will be remembered mostly as a loving wife, friend, sister, cousin, aunt, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Susan loved those that loved her. She will be greatly missed. Her loving family includes: Husband, William “Bill” Mosser; Children, Travis Hoiland, Troy (Sara) Hoiland, JoAnne (Chris) Mosser, Clayton Mosser and Michael (Tricia) Mosser; Grandchildren, Chase Hoiland, Jordan Halstead, Kayla (Daniel) Meadors, Zackery (Ashley) Whittle, Jersey Mosser, and Gaven Mosser; Sisters, Cynthia (Melvin) Ell, and Patricia Spicer; Sisters-in-law, Brenda Mosser, Theresa (Gary) Diebert, Carolyn (David) Bischof, Bernadette (Thomas) Gibson; Brothers-in-law, John (Linda) Mosser, Robert (Susan) Mosser; along with numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, William (Bill) and Rose Marie Spicer; her son, Shane Hoiland; brothers and sisters-law, Edward Mosser, David and Marlene Mosser, Albert Mosser, and Donald Mosser; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Mass of Christian Burial: Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Minot. Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND. Susan Mosser, 74 of Minot, ND passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Trinity Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.

Susan was born April 12, 1950, the daughter of William “Bill” Spicer and Rose Marie (Sattler) Spicer in Grand Forks, ND. The family moved to Minot, ND, where she was raised and educated.
