Barton

Theresa Dorothy Gronvold, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Keller) Mattern was born on February 24, 1924, in their farm home in rural east Barton, North Dakota. She died at the age of 100 years with family by her side on Monday, September 30th, 2024, at the Heart of America Care Center in Rugby, North Dakota. On November 7, 1945, she was united in marriage to her sweetheart, Victor Gronvold in Missoula, Montana. Theresa is survived by her daughters, Sheila (Gil) Harper of Rugby and Bonnie Voeller of West Fargo; daughters-in-law, Fern Gronvold and Lori Gronvold. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, October 7, at Barton Lutheran Church, with burial in the Barton Cemetery and lunch to follow at the Rugby Senior Center. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the time of services at the church on Monday.
