Elizabeth Webb, 80, of Minot, died Thursday October 9, 2024, at her residence.
Elizabeth Jean Framstad was born on April 28, 1944, in Belcourt, North Dakota, to parents Lloyd and Virginia (DeMars) Framstad. During her early years, she attended schools in Belcourt and Fort Totten. She later moved to Helena, Montana, with her family and attended St. Mary’s High School. She graduated in the class of 1961.
Following High School, Elizabeth attended Carroll College to pursue a degree in Nursing. While in college, she married Gilbert Turcotte. She later attended the University of North Dakota, and then Dickinson State, where she graduated with a degree in both Nursing and Sociology.
Elizabeth was united in marriage to Densel Webb on August 27, 1989, in Minot. The couple moved to Alaska in 1992, where Elizabeth worked as an RN and midwife. She retired in 1989. The couple moved back to Minot in 1992, where they spent their retirement years together. Densel passed away in 2015.
In her free time, Elizabeth enjoyed gardening, teaching quilting classes, and following the Iditarod sled dog races. She especially loved spending time with her family. She was an environmentalist, and a member of the Organic Garden Club, along with the Museum of National History. She will be remembered most for the love that she showed to all of her dogs, as well as her love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Elizabeth is survived by: her children, Lynnette Ofsthun (Minot), Eddette (Kyle) Stebleton (Williston), and Matthew (Lori) Turcotte (Alaska); grandchildren, Chantry Stebleton, Eric Stebleton, Shaun Aarhus, Sheldon Aarhus, Chris Aarhus, Logan Turcotte, Ashley Nygard, and Brandon Ofsthun; great-grandchildren, Kennedy Stebleton, Eli Stebleton, Ryker Aarhus, Arianna Aarhus, Adalynn Aarhus, Ridge Nygard, Daisy Aarhus, David Aarhus, and Daniel Aarhus; 12 step-children, and several step-grandchildren.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Densel; daughter, Teresa Turcotte; great-grandson, Jacob Stebleton, and brothers, Wayne and Raymond.
Memorial Service: Monday, October 14, 2024 at 1:00 p.m., in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Minot (3740 Crossing St SW, Minot, ND).
