Shawna Perry, 45, Minot, passed away Friday, September 6, 2024, in Van Hook, ND.

Shawna Rae Miller was born April 11, 1979, the daughter of Perry and Donna (Wilcox) Miller, in Minot. She was raised and educated in Minot, then moved to Cheyenne Wyoming in 1989, following the divorce of her parents.

While in Wyoming, Shawna always looked forward to her dad bringing her to Minot for the summer and Christmas holiday. In 1989, Shawna and her mom moved to Oregon, before moving to Minot with her dad in 1992, where she loved attending bingo with her grandma, Maxine. She finished her schooling in Minot.

Shawna was once married to Bernard Perry. They made their home in Minot, and were blessed with one daughter, Asashia. During this time, she was a homemaker.

She met Anthony Graves in Minot, and they later moved to Chicago, and then Tampa Bay, and from that relationship, they were blessed with a daughter, Toni. In 2001, Shawna and her girls moved back to Minot, where she raised her girls on her own.

Shawna worked a variety of jobs, at Lucky Strike Lounge, Wings and Rings, Sleep Inn, and various other jobs.

Her loving family includes: parents, Perry (Shanette) Miller and Donna Wilcox; children, Asashia Perry, Toni Graves; grandchildren, Eva’Neigh, Eedyn, KeShaun, Prodigy; brother, Seth Miller, Shane Miller; sister, Samatha Miller; nephews, Brayden, Blaysen; niece, Briella; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death her paternal grandparents, Chris and Maxine Miller; maternal grandfather, Bill Wilcox; and uncle, David Rust.

Funeral: Friday, September 13, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Chapel Church, Minot.

Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND. Visitation: Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot. Memorials: In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
