Susan Marie Parker, aged 67, of Cordova, TN, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024. She was born March 4, 1957, to Arnold and Genevieve (Anderson) Walter, in Minot, ND.

She attended Max Public School and later graduated from St. Olaf College, Northfield, MN. After graduation, she was employed by ETNALife, and later by Walker and Assoc. Advertising, both in Memphis, TN. This is where she met the love of her life, William I. Parker Jr., of Cordova, TN.

She was preceded in death by her father, Arnold E. Walter, and sister, Melody Ann Walter.

Susan’s loving family includes her husband of 35 years, William, her daughter Cheryl (Kelly) White of Southaven, MS, her mother Genevieve Walter, Chicago City, MN, her sister, Naomi (Jim) Price, Chicago City, MN, her brother, Arnie Walter, Renton WA, and other brother Andy (Leona) Walter, Minot.

She was a devoted wife, and worked hard to make sure her husband and everyone around her were happy and had everything they needed or wanted, when possible. She was a caring boss to those who worked for her. She was organized and detailed in all things professional and personal. She never forgot a birthday and never failed to reach out on those occasions or to send a card for special holidays.

She loved to read. She was active in her church and loved meeting with the ladies in the church whenever possible for fellowship. She was faithful to the devotions and her beliefs. She loved to volunteer and was very charitable, donating to almost every organization that asked. She was extremely generous. She loved the outdoors, flower, and especially camping.

She will be truly missed by those who were fortunate enough to know her.

No services are scheduled at this time, and no memorials or flowers per request of the family.
