Irene (Hass Eisenbeisz) Hirsch, 87, Williston, ND formerly of Martin, ND died Friday, August 9, 2024, in a Minot hospital.

Irene was born in Anamoose, ND on November 22, 1936, to Otto and Julia (Braun) Hass. She grew up on the farm near Anamoose, attended public school, graduating in 1954. She attended Minot State College and taught at rural schools near Lincoln Valley and White Earth, ND.

In 1956 she married Reinhold (Reiny) Eisenbeisz of Anamoose. They had a dairy farm south of Martin where they enjoyed raising their family.

She is survived by her husband, Morrill Hirsch of Williston. They married in 2015 and enjoyed traveling, spending the winters in Mesa, AZ in their motorhome and with the many friends they made from the U.S. and Canada.

She is also survived by sister Ione Hass of Eugene, OR, sons Randall (Roby) of Burnsville, MN, Steve (Karla) of Martin, ND, Todd (Margaret) of Thornton, CO and Dale (Sunday) of St. Cloud, FL, 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents, brothers LaVern, Jim and Ken, sister Pat, her first husband Reiny, infant son Mark and grandson Timothy.

Services are planned for 2 p.m. Friday, October 4, 2024, First Lutheran Church in Williston, ND and 1 p.m. Saturday, October 5, 2024, St. Martin’s Lutheran Church in Anamoose, ND.

Interment will follow the Anamoose service in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery rural Martin, ND.
