David Alan Thompson, 69 of Rugby passed away on Tuesday, August 13 at the Heart of America Medical Center in Rugby, North Dakota. He was born on April 27, 1955 in Rolette, North Dakota to Melvin and Esther (Braaten) Thompson. He is survived by his sisters, Marlene Nelson of West Fargo and Ila LaChapelle of Portland. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 19 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Rugby. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. in the Ox Creek Lutheran Cemetery, rural Rolette.
