Pastor John Nilsen, 76, Minot, formerly of Riverdale, ND, died July 11, 2024, in a Minot hospital surrounded by his loving family. He served congregations in Riverdale, Max, Minot and the surrounding areas. He is survived by his wife Cheryl; children Jared (Lisa) Nilsen, Dana (Howard) Olson, Ashley (Torrac Hayes) Nilsen, Minot and honorary German daughter Madeleine (Goetz) Rauschenberger, and four grandchildren. Funeral service: 11:00 a.m. July 24, 2024 at Bethany Lutheran Church, Minot.
