Michael Allen Williamson

April 20, 1965-June 28, 2024

Minot

Michael Allen Williamson was born the 20th day of April, 1965 in Crookston, Minnesota and passed away in Minot, North Dakota on the 28th day of June, 2024.

Before moving to Minot, ND in 1993, he lived in Grafton, North Dakota. Michael was the type of person who preferred to stay in a quiet area of his home.

Even though Michael may have been a man of not many words, he had still picked up a few phrases along the way which help anyone who met Michael understand who he was, some of which were explicit but for those of who have gotten the luxury to know Michael knew exactly what those phrases were and what he was expressing.

He had a comical yet social side to him, especially when running errands and talking with anyone or everyone in some cases. He would refer to the people in his life by certain nicknames and say certain phrases, this was his ideal time to shine and get attention and he did just that.

Michael enjoyed eating his favorite treats on occasion such as gummy bears, gummy worms, chocolates and licorice. He enjoyed going to the truck stop for a hot beef sandwich. He enjoyed having his soft blankets on him, he couldn’t be too hot or too cold, he had to be just right. He especially loved being snuggled into the comfort of his bed surrounded by his blankets and numerous pillows. Michael especially enjoyed the time spent with the people who cared deeply for him and who would give him massages as this helped him to relax and soothe away his pain.

To name a few more favorites of his, he enjoyed sitting outside soaking up the sun, sitting in his recliner, relaxing in his room, listening to books on tape or to a genre of music, sports on the radio, and attending sports events, he would respond to WWI, WWII and Civil War stories which led to him checking out history books at the local library.
