Kathleen Ann Froeber, 82, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away February 15, 2024 in Minneapolis MN. She was born July 25, 1941 in Bottineau, ND. Her funeral will be August 9 in Minot at 10:30 am at St. Therese, Church of the Little Flower, where she married the love of her life, James Froeber, in 1961. They made their home in Minot and were blessed with two daughters.
Kathleen, who dedicated her life to the education of children, graduated with a teaching degree from Minot State College and taught at Edison Elementary School for 24 years. In 1991, when their first of two granddaughters was born, they moved to Edina, MN, where Kathleen continued teaching. In 2002, she earned a Library of Science Master’s Degree. She worked as a librarian in an elementary school until her retirement. She and Jim spent a lifetime enjoying their children and grandchildren and traveling together.
Kathleen is survived by seven of her eight siblings, her two daughters Patti Froeber and Mary Hogg. Their husbands, Mark Wilson and Alan Hogg. Their two granddaughters, Mattie Ahlers and Sarah Kreisinger and their husbands, John Ahlers and Greg Kreisinger.
The burial will immediately follow the funeral at Rosehill Memorial Park. May Kathleen Rest In Peace.
