Charlotte Hubbard, 75, Minot, ND, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 2, 2024, surrounded by her family in Klamath Falls, Oregon.

Charlotte Theresia Petty was born August 29, 1948, the first child of Norman and Theresia (Fusseder) Petty, in Bliachach, Germany. Her father Norman was enlisted in the United States Air Force allowing the family to be assigned to several military installations over the years in areas that included Germany, Florida, South Carolina, Okinawa, and Arizona, just to name a few. During that time, Charlotte was blessed with two wonderful brothers, Robert and James “Pete” that she loved dearly. After military life, Charlotte’s parents settled down in Tucson, AZ where Charlotte completed her schooling and graduated from Palo Verde High School.

Charlotte met and fell deeply in love with her soulmate, Larry Hubbard. They were married in June of 1967 and traveled the world as Larry was enlisted in the United States Air Force and was assigned to many different military installations. They lived in places such as Arizona, California, South Dakota, Germany, and North Dakota.

During her life together with Larry, they had four wonderful children, Tammra “Tami,” Jennifer, Larry “Michael,” and Theresia “Resi.” Charlotte was the perfect example of the military spouse. While Larry was away training, TDY, and deployed, she kept everything at home running smoothly all while raising those four wonderful children. Charlotte and Larry settled down and made their home in Minot, ND when Larry retired from the US Air Force.

Charlotte enjoyed fishing with Larry, listening to music, watching Hallmark movies, traveling – especially by train, reading and spending any time with family. Charlotte was blessed with ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
