Kim Snyder, 64, Minot, formerly of New Town, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2023, at home surrounded by her family.
Kim Koleen Sorenson was born April 19, 1959, in Stanley, to Milo and Arlet (Nemitz) Sorenson. Kim was raised in New Town and graduated from New Town High School in 1977.
On June 30, 1979, Kim was united in marriage to Walter Snyder, Jr. They made their home in Minot so Kim could continue her education. She graduated from Minot State College. She worked in a variety of positions at St. Joseph Hospital, Trinity Hospital, and Burdick Job Corps.
Kim was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends. Spending time together during the holidays was especially important to her. Kim was also devoted to her faith, attended church regularly, and read her bible daily. She liked cross-stitching, playing cards, and going for scenic car rides.

She is survived by her husband, Walter Snyder, Jr. of Minot; son, Nathaniel Snyder (Erin) of Grand Forks; daughters, Rikki Jan Kelley (Eric) and Brittany Thomas (Chris) both of Minot; grandchildren, Landon and Chloe Snyder; Evalynn Kelley; Jewel, Teva, and Arieanna Thomas; and great-grandsons, Xavier Jackson and James Ripple.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Milo and Arlet Sorenson; infant brother, Dale; mother-in-law, Esther Erickson; and other extended family members.
Visitation: Wednesday, November 15, 2023, 3-5 p.m. at Langhans Funeral Home, Parshall, and 2 hours before the start of the service at Journey Church in Minot.
Funeral: Thursday, November 16, 2023, 2:00 p.m., at Journey Church, 1805 2nd St SE, Minot
Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot
