Dec. 11, 1993-July 25, 2023

Bismarck

Abigayle Marie Hannesson, 29, Bismarck, died Tuesday, July 25th, 2023.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00PM, Saturday, August 5th, 2023, at New Life Church, 1320 Tacoma Ave, Bismarck, ND.

Abby was born December 11, 1993, to Brad and Tammy Hannesson in their cozy home in Minot, North Dakota. There she grew up alongside her favorite brother, Noah. She graduated from Our Redeemer’s Christian School in 2012, where she played volleyball and sang in the choir.

In 2014 Abby became a mother to her beloved daughter, Ryleigh. And the following year she gave her a perfect little sister, Reese. Abby loved her girls more than anything and enjoyed every moment she spent with them. She kept every photo, coloring, and note they made for her, and was so proud of their school accomplishments and hard work. Anyone who knew Abby, knew that Ryleigh and Reese were the absolute light of her life, her greatest joy, her heart and soul.

She was very passionate about her recovery and supporting others who struggled with addiction. Abby’s strength to overcome was inspiring to us all, and she will continue to be an inspiration to all who knew her. Abby’s bubbly and infectious personality will be missed by us all, and her kind spirit will live on in us forever.

Her loving family includes: her beautiful daughters, Ryleigh Hess and Reese Hess; parents, Bradley Hannesson (Bismarck), Tammy Hannesson (Fargo); siblings, Noah Hannesson (Fargo), Chelsy Graves (Bismarck); nephew, Jackson; niece, Kodi; grandmother Judy Koland; grandparents, Connie Hannesson (Crookston, MN), Boyde and Sally Galgerud (Omaha, NE).

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Lee Hannesson and Gerald Koland; great-grandmother, Thelma Huizenga; and cousin, Veronique Roll.
