Gene Otto Hass

Kenmare, ND, died Mon-

day, June 20, 2016.

Gene Hass was born

June 7, 1964 in Kenmare,

ND the son of Otto and

Marie (Peltier) Hass and

Clifford Gene DeCoteau

and Donna (Brunelle)

Lenoir.

Gene was known for his

larger than life personali-

ty, laugh, and sense of

humor. He was a lifelong

resident of North Dakota,

who worked as a truck

driver. Gene’s interests

included friends, family,

cars, and playing jokes.

Gene is survived by his

brother Bill Lenoir (lov-

ingly referred to as Punky

Joe), sisters Margaret

(Shawn) Andersen and

Michelle (Joe) Rottman,

nieces Macy, Delainey,

Alexis and Madison,

nephews Jared, Lucas and

Nolan, and loving aunts,

uncles and cousins.

Gene was preceded in

death by his parents,

grandparents, and broth-

ers Gary Hass & Gregory

Lenoir.

A graveside memorial

will be held Sunday, July

3 at 1:00pm at the Trinity

Lutheran Church

northeast of Kenmare, fol-

lowed by fellowship at the

Tolley City Hall.
