Fox made sure they had the building and funding to kickstart the department.

On Tuesday, at 17:54 (5:54 p.m.) a test call made by McLean County Sheriff JR Kerzmann brought the White Shield Fire Department online and now officially ready to handle fires in the White Shield community.

Currently, White Shield Fire Department has 26 volunteers in all levels of skills and training. Afterward they set off water turrets and hoses, even letting youngsters fire some of the hoses.

Starting at $2.99/week.
