Victim of fatal vehicle crash identified
TURTLE LAKE – The victim of a two-vehicle crash on N.D. Highway 41, north of Turtle Lake, on April 14 has been identified as Samantha Christiansen, 19, Turtle Lake.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Christiansen was driving south on Highway 41 and crossed over into the northbound lanes, striking a Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Larry Lee, 80, Velva. Christiansen died at the scene. Lee and passenger, Margie Lee, 82, Velva, both were injured and taken to the Turtle Lake hospital, then Larry Lee was airlifted to a Minot hospital.
