Souris Valley United Way and Minot Automotive Co. have announced the fourth vehicle giveaway through the Wheels for Work program. Established in April 2024, this collaboration exists to provide reliable transportation to local families working to overcome barriers and build brighter futures, according to a SVUW news release.

“The need for reliable transportation impacts so many aspects of daily life — from getting to work and school to accessing healthcare and groceries,” said Christy Miller, executive director at SVUW, in the release.

Since its launch, Wheels for Work has made a meaningful difference for area families by removing transportation as a barrier to employment, education and essential services. Thanks to the generosity of local donors and the support of Minot Automotive, another deserving family will soon receive the gift of safe, dependable transportation.
