Tela Nelson

Update: Nelson has returned home and is no longer missing according to the Ward County Sheriff’s Department.

The Ward County Sheriff’s Department is seeking information regarding the whereabouts of Tela Nelson, 19, Minot.

According to information from the sheriff’s department, Nelson has brown hair and brown eyes, is 5’8″ and weighs 150 pounds. Nelson was last seen wearing a red shirt, black tank top with flowers, black leggings, white flip-flops, and a navy-blue beanie. She was also carrying a small pink backpack with a floral print and black purse with a chain.

Nelson was reportedly last seen at 1 p.m. on Friday leaving her residence at a southwest Minot area mobile home park, and has not returned or had contact with her family since.

Anyone who has seen her or knows her whereabouts is advised to contact the sheriff’s department at 857-6500.
