Minot Baptist to host presentation on Israel

Minot Baptist Church will present “Israel In Prophecy” on Sunday, April 6.

The visual presentation will be conducted by missionary Robert Walker of Chosen People Ministries. Walker also will answer questions concerning the current status of Israel in the news. He will be presenting during the evening service at 6 p.m.

Both the Christian as well as the Jewish community are invited to attend. The meeting is free and open to the public. The church is located at 500 46th Ave. NE in Minot.

The experience will help both Jewish and Christian communities understand their common heritage and hope. It will make the message of the Messiah more accessible to Jewish people and give Christian believers a greater appreciation of the Jewish roots of their faith, according to a church news release.

Chosen People Ministries is an evangelical mission, founded in 1894 by Leopold Cohn, a Hungarian rabbi who came to believe that Jesus was the Messiah of Israel promised by the Hebrew Scriptures. From humble beginnings in Brooklyn, New York, Chosen People Ministries has grown into a worldwide ministry on every continent except Antarctica.
